Lakeview Park is located in the southwest corner of town along the lake. It features 20 full service and 10 unserviced camp sites with modern washroom/shower facilities. The beach has a swimming area dammed off from the main lake so it can be drained, cleaned, and treated each year. There is a playground on-site and walking trails are an easy hike from the campground. Fishing from the causeway is a common site. The causeway connects the campground to the golf course on the west shore. The Shoal Lake Millennium Project constructed a pathway and bridge on the causeway allowing foot, cycling, and golf cart traffic to cross the lake. At the south end of the campground there is a boat launch as well as the Police and Pioneer Museum, which is open daily from 12:00 - 8:00 p.m. during July and August. To reserve a campsite call 204-759-2629.
